Description
This informative and practical course is delivered by Claire Hubbard, an experienced (33+ years) and currently practising teacher and KS1 and KS2 Moderator Manager. It is designed to support Key Stage Two Leaders, Year Six teachers, HLTAs and teaching assistants with the end of Key Stage Two Moderation requirements in line with the Standards and Testing Agency (STA) for June 2025. The training will support staff in the preparation and efficiency of collating evidence to make secure judgement assessment of writing alongside internal and external moderation and the processes involved. This course is suitable for anyone needing a moderation evidence refresher or those new to Year Six.

Resources are included in the price of the course. Many of these are, or have been, used personally during the moderation processes at the Teach Hub’s teachers’ own schools, with other teachers Claire has moderated, or simply during the current day to day teaching and learning in KS2.
The follow on course, Moderation Evidence Collection at the end of KS2, takes the evidence collection much further with wealth of tasks and ideas to use whilst developing classroom activities that could lead to secure evidence in Writing, including the reaching the expected level at Greater Depth.
