This informative and practical training session will support Primary Teachers and Teaching Assistants to teach reading through interventions, to the lower 20% of achievers in the Primary School. The aim is to provide staff with guidance about how to ensure children achieve a good grasp of decoding and fluency to become independent readers in late KS1 and in KS2. The training will give a range of practical activities and many resources to enhance the teaching and learning of reading with meaning and understanding.
