To help him, a little girl shows him what each feeling means through colour. This book links beautifully with PSHE and it will help children to verbalise their own feelings. Simple retrieval skills and inference are covered in this unit. This unit could be extended into other lessons including incidental writing opportunities for description and diary writing. The colour theme links really well with art too.
