Teaching children how to answer different question types using popular texts will greatly enhance their enjoyment of reading and understanding and this unit complements a study of The Stone Age perfectly.
In this pack, you will find 1 x whole class lesson (an hour-long for each – or you can split it); an editable PowerPoint presentation; vocabulary focus; full planning using the KS2 Reading Domains; and two task sheets (of which one of them in this unit is scaffolded at two different levels) all ready to print. The purchase of a book is not necessary for this unit as the text is included, but a general non-fiction Stone Age book would be useful.
