Phonics Screening Check Grapheme Coverage and slides – taken from all the previous tests from 2012 onwards, and the 2017 statutory criteria for word structure inclusion. The PowerPoint includes over 400 slides to use when teaching to show the different word formations that need the most practise, using both the real and pseudo words.
The words are Split into Set One and Set Two to show the alternative pronunciations. We have added <le> and <ful> as they were included with some of the words and can be used as examples when looking at two-syllable words.
Could be used as a checklist to identify gaps and areas to focus on.
