This unit features work on prediction, inference, sequencing, clarification and retrieval skills. This story looks at how we all need the helping hand of a friend from time to time.
In this pack you will find 2 x whole class lessons (an hour long for each – or you can split them), an editable PowerPoint presentation; vocabulary focus; the task sheets with scaffolding support, and the texts all ready to print. These lessons will hopefully help to teach and assess the comprehension skills of your Y2 class, showing a good understanding of the behaviour of the characters within the text.
